studio ombré were approached to design an updated lighting scheme for the Kindergarten at Bussnang.
The brief outlined flexibility as a key consideration for a space which fosters learning, interactions and leisure activities for children
of various age groups, with a variety of mental and visual acuities.

We adopted a layered approach to lighting in response to the brief. This approach utilised LEDs with Dim to Warm technology,
in addition to luminaires with both direct and indirect outputs. Furthermore luminaires with low-glare provide optimum visual comfort.

The luminaires are controlled via lighting control system which allows the flexibility to switch between various scenes and brightness levels.
