As part of a comprehensive modernisation, public restrooms at various SBB CFF FFS stations were redesigned with a refreshing interior scheme combining an improved palette of finishes and textures.

In collaboration with Dost Architektur, studio ombré delivered a comprehensive lighting scheme across these amenities, that accentuated the vibrant finishes and textures whilst providing functionally adequate illumination levels for all users.

A standardised and reduced palette of luminaries controlled by a simple and intuitive lighting control system ensured maintenance and facilities teams had the flexibility and ease they required.
